Ayahuasca retreats at Mundo Profundo offer a traditional indigenous elder, Abuelo Claudino, from the Putumayo region of Colombia to lead the sacred Ayahausca ceremonies.
Located just 2 hours from Medellin airport in the Colombian jungle, Mundo Profundo is a sacred space that offers rivers, waterfalls, trees and plenty of nature to allow participants to disconnect from the real world and journey inwards to experience the magic that Ayahuasca has to offer.

Yagé
Yagé is the word for Ayahuasca in Colombia. Often called the "vine of the soul", it is a sacred plant brew revered for its role in facilitating deep spiritual insights and healing. This brew is made in the jungles of Putumayo, Colombia by the Elders of the tribe. Many days are spent curating this sacred medicine, putting sacred blessings, protections and love into it.
Rapé
Rapé (ra-peh) is a powdered snuff made from the Amazonian tobacco plant and other natural plants. It is used in ceremonial rituals to ground and center oneself, promoting a heightened state of awareness and spiritual connection while releasing negative energy and cleansing the auric fields. It has cleansing and purifying properties that help remove negative energies and blockages from the body and mind.
Mambe & Ambil
Mambe and Ambil represent the female and male energies from the coca and tobacco plants respectively. A balance of male and female energies providing clarity and focus. Mambe is the powdered coca leaf mixed with ash from the Yarumo tree and is said to be used for the ‘sweet word’. Ambil is a tobacco concentrate, often cooked down for many days and is said to be used for ‘clear thoughts’.
